Job Title: Sales Head Pharma OTC Division

About the Role:

Pharma OTC segment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Develop and implement robust sales strategies for OTC products to achieve annual business targets.
    • Identify new market opportunities and distribution channels to expand market presence.
  • Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a large, pan-India sales team to deliver consistent results.
    • Build capability within the sales force through regular training and performance reviews.
  • Market Intelligence & Competition Analysis

    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to proactively respond to changes.
    • Provide data-driven insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Channel & Distribution Management

    • Strengthen relationships with distributors, stockists, retailers, and key trade partners.
    • Ensure optimum product availability and visibility across all markets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns.
    • Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Business Expansion

    • Drive penetration in untapped markets while strengthening existing territories.
    • Evaluate and launch new OTC product lines in collaboration with the product team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Mandatory:

    Proven track record in

    Pharma OTC

    sales at a

    national leadership level

    .
  • Minimum

    15 years

    of relevant experience, with at least

    5 years

    in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of OTC product portfolio management, distribution networks, and trade marketing.
  • Pan-India exposure with the ability to manage a large field force and multiple regional offices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Business acumen with the ability to take strategic and operational decisions.

Preferred (Added Advantage):

  • Exposure to

    Marketing leadership

    in OTC brands.
  • Experience in launching new products and categories in the OTC segment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with market data and KPIs.
