It functions as a Tier-2 supplier, serving leading Tier-1 automotive glass manufacturers in India. These Tier-1 automotive glass manufacturers, in turn, supply directly to major automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) The Chakan plant will focus on bending operation , inspection, and downstream assembly operations for extruded polymer profiles used in automotive windshield applications. The company produces extruded profiles for automotive glass applications, primarily for windshield assemblies. Profiles consist of rubber and aluminum reinforcement with heat and pressure-sensitive adhesive coating . Extrusion will remain with the parent company, while the Chakan plant will handle bending operations , quality inspection, and downstream assembly operations. Products : High technology extruded profiles with embedded aluminum reinforcements used in automotive windshield assemblies . The profiles are coated with double-sided adhesive tape for bonding during glass fitting. Primary customers are glass manufacturers (Tier 1) supplying automotive OEMs. Position Purpose: The Plant Manager position is a senior operational role responsible for managing the day-to-day functioning of the Chakan facility. The role covers production operations, maintenance, quality output, and vendor coordination. It does not carry profit and loss (P&L) responsibility or sales and marketing duties. Acting as the local leadership anchor, the role combines handson operations and maintenance oversight with crossfunctional coordination (Sales, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and HR) and direct liaison with the parent company during startup and scale phases.
