Description
As a Project Manager in Perennial, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the organization. You will oversee resource allocation, deadline management, and the timely and cost-effective completion of the project's goals. As a project manager, you serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, communicating progress, resolving issues, and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Who You Are
- Have managed digital development projects, particularly in the news or video domain, with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Lead Identity-based projects, focusing on login, signup across multiple apps, platforms, and brands, especially in a multi-brand under a single org scenario.
- Have managed ecommerce and Martech based projects effectively.
- Conducted and facilitated discovery workshops to gather project requirements.
- Worked on both agile and waterfall project management methodologies as per project needs.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Commit to strict adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external teams.
- Exhibited excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintained solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.
- Hold certifications such as Certified Agile Project Manager or Project Management Professional (PMP) (good to have).
What You Will Do
- Project Planning : Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and success criteria.
- Resource Management : Identify project team members and assign roles and responsibilities based on skills and availability. Coordinate with functional managers to allocate resources effectively and ensure adequate support for project activities.
- Timeline Management : Establish project timelines, milestones, and deadlines in alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Monitor progress, track key metrics, and adjust schedules as needed to keep the project on track.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery. Develop risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation procedures to address challenges and minimize disruptions.
- Communication and Reporting : Facilitate regular communication among project team members, stakeholders, and leadership. Provide timely updates, status reports, and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, issues, and decisions.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant policies, regulations, and industry best practices. Conduct regular reviews, inspections, and testing to verify product/service quality and performance.
- Budget Management : Monitor project expenses, track spending against budget allocations, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Work with finance and procurement teams to manage vendor contracts, invoices, and payments.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. Solicit feedback, address concerns, and manage expectations to foster positive relationships and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
- Change Management : Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through formal change control processes. Assess impacts, evaluate alternatives, and communicate decisions to stakeholders to minimize disruptions and maintain project alignment.
- Post-Project Evaluation : Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to evaluate project performance, identify successes and areas for improvement, and capture best practices for future projects.
