(June 2024 - June 2025) FUNCTION : People, Culture, & Comms LOCATION : Mumbai, India JOB TYPE : Permanent ROLE SENIORITY : Non-Managerial GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA: The role supports various aspects of People Operations in the APAC region, including payroll and benefits coordination, employee onboarding, and compliance reporting. It involves working closely with the Regional People Business Partner, external vendors, and finance teams to support smooth operations across payroll, benefits, recruitment, and legal compliance processes. YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Payroll Administration: Partner with Regional People Business Partner and Managing Directors on monthly payroll reviews for all countries in APAC and collaborate with external HR services, payroll vendor and HR benefits vendors. Collaborate with the finance department for APAC audit requests. Benefits Administration: Coordinate with Head of People Operations & Total Rewards and Benefits GPO on benefits items or claim issues for APAC region, incl. employee handbooks and social security contribution matters. Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issue Regional People Business Partner Support: Provide day-to-day support to Regional People Business Partner APAC for operational topics and assist with employee and manager queries. Plan APAC employee engagement events and APAC learning months. Recruitment and Onboarding Support: Support Regional People Business Partner APAC with introduction of new employees to the company's culture, policies, and procedures. Address any questions or concerns new hires may have during the orientation process. Support with offer letter preparation and candidate screening. Compliance & Labor Reporting: Prepare and submit required annual and quarterly reports to authorities. Support with Visa processing for foreign employees in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia etc. Support and coordinate labor compliance audit and severance toolkit for APAC region. Local Process Documentation: Support with updating APAC People Operations process documentation in collaboration with our external HR services and payroll vendor. Any other People, Culture & Communication tasks as needed. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal: HR CoE (PeopleOps, TR, TM, Transf& Projects), Regional Business Partner APAC, Cross-Functional (Procurement, Finance, Tax and Treasury), APAC Employees, APAC People Managers. External: External People Operations vendor (Accenture) and payroll vendor (EY), local benefit vendors, consultants, local labor lawyer (Dentons) ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE? Main requirements: Master's Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role for India, preferably for entire APAC region Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, preferably for entire APAC region. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Fluency in English, written and spoken Language skills in Mandarin and Japanese would be a plus.
