Job Description

Hiring: P6 Scheduler with fluency in OPC | Delhi | In-Office


mid-level Project Scheduler


Role to be based in Delhi. This is a full-time position with a 6-day working structure: 4-5 days in-office plus alternate Friday and half Saturday work-from-home (unless required on-site for meetings). You will work on projects and sites located across India, APAC and internationally, supporting clients in mission critical projects such as data centres, factories, and infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule Development & Management

  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using

    Primavera P6

    on Oracle platform services.
  • Establish and manage the

    Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

    aligned with project scope.
  • Create baseline schedules and integrate resource/cost loading where required.
  • Progress Tracking & Reporting

  • Track progress against baseline schedules and identify variances.
  • Generate

    S-curves, dashboards, and KPIs

    for management reporting.
  • Support forecasting of completion dates and key milestones.
  • Risk & Delay Analysis

  • Conduct

    critical path analysis

    and monitor project float.
  • Perform “what-if” scenarios to assess impacts of potential changes.
  • Support claims and delay impact assessments when necessary.
  • Integration with Project Controls

  • Collaborate with cost control, procurement, and engineering teams.
  • Ensure alignment of schedule with contractual milestones and project controls.
  • Apply

    Earned Value Management (EVM)

    principles where applicable.
  • Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure schedule transparency.
  • Communicate risks, slippages, and mitigation measures clearly.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives using Oracle’s integrated project systems.


Key Deliverables (KD)

Baseline Schedule Development

  • Creation of an internal project baseline aligned with contract requirements and scope.

Schedule Updates & Look-Ahead Plans

  • Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly updates.
  • Generation of 2–4 week look-ahead schedules for construction teams.

Critical Path & Float Analysis

  • Identification and reporting of critical path activities, slippages, and negative float.

GC Proposed Program Assessment & Management

  • Review and validation of General Contractor (GC) submitted schedules.
  • Check compliance with contract provisions, sequencing logic, calendars, and WBS structure.
  • Assess feasibility, resource alignment, and milestone accuracy.
  • Provide variance reports and recommendations to management on acceptance or revision.
  • Ongoing monitoring of GC program against internal master schedule.

Delay & Impact Assessments

  • “What-if” and scenario analysis to evaluate effects of late inputs, design changes, or external delays.
  • Mitigation strategies and recovery schedules.

Forecasting & Completion Metrics

  • Prepare Estimated Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC).
  • Track forecast milestones against baseline.

Integrated Resource & Cost-Loaded Schedules

  • Maintain resource-loaded and cost-integrated schedules in P6/OPC.
  • Highlight resource conflicts or over-allocation for resolution.

Executive Reporting & Dashboards

  • Deliver concise schedule dashboards and S-curves via P6 and OPC data using Power BI, Looker-studio or other cloud dashboards.
  • Present variance, trends, and critical risks to project leadership.


Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, IT, or related field.
  • Certification in

    Primavera P6

    or

    Oracle Project Controls

    preferred.
  • PMI-SP, PMP, or equivalent certification an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on expertise in

    Primavera P6 (EPPM & PPM)

    .
  • Knowledge and experience in

    Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC / Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)

    .
  • Proficiency in

    MS Excel, Power BI, Looker Studio and reporting tools

    .
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and forensic schedule analysis.

Professional Skills

  • 4–7 years’ experience in scheduling and project controls (construction, EPC, or IT projects).
  • Ability to work independently in a mid-level role while collaborating with senior PMs.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
