Role Description

Procurement Specialist

We are specifically looking for candidates with specialization in either:

• Plastics Commodity Procurement
• Sheet Metal / General Purchase Procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Translate planning requirements into accurate and timely Purchase Orders (POs).
• Ensure strict adherence to sourcing policies, approval hierarchies, and budgetary controls.
• Partner with Category Managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and support vendor negotiations.
• Track and monitor supplier performance across lead times, quality, and service reliability.
• Oversee and expedite processes related to Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Incoming Quality Control (IQC), and resolution of internal rejections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding POs, invoices, and payments.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive compliance with procurement policies and proactively mitigate risks of non-compliance or fraud.

  , which demand deep technical understanding and market awareness.
• ERP & Process Discipline: Ensuring timely and accurate usage of SAP/ERP systems for POs, GRN, IQC, and invoice processing.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering (preferred) or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in P2P Procurement Processes or Purchase.
• Strong knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Hands-on experience with SAP (MM / Ariba) or similar ERP systems.
• Proven track record in Plastics Procurement or Sheet Metal / General Purchase Procurement.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives.
• Go-getter attitude with strong ownership and problem-solving orientation.
• Prior exposure to Smart Metering systems and utility operations is a significant advantage.
