P2P Procurement Specialist

Role Overview: Kimbal Private Limited is looking for a P2P Procurement Specialist with specialization in either Plastics Commodity Procurement or Sheet Metal / General Purchase Procurement. As a P2P Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for translating planning requirements into accurate Purchase Orders, ensuring adherence to sourcing policies and budgetary controls, identifying cost-saving opportunities, monitoring supplier performance, and driving compliance with procurement policies. Key Responsibilities: - Translate planning requirements into accurate and timely Purchase Orders (POs). - Ensure strict adherence to sourcing policies, approval hierarchies, and budgetary controls. - Partner with Category Managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and support vendor negotiations. - Track and monitor supplier performance across lead times, quality, and service reliability. - Oversee processes related to Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Incoming Quality Control (IQC), and resolution of internal rejections. - Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Drive compliance with procurement policies and proactively mitigate risks of non-compliance or fraud. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering (preferred) or related technical field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in P2P Procurement Processes or Purchase. - Hands-on experience with SAP (MM / Ariba) or similar ERP systems. - Proven track record in Plastics Procurement or Sheet Metal / General Purchase Procurement. - Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives. - Go-getter attitude with strong ownership and problem-solving orientation. - Prior exposure to Smart Metering systems and utility operations is a significant advantage.,
