Warehouse Lead SCM Role Description Kimbal is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Lead to oversee our warehouse operations and drive efficiency across inventory management, material movement, and dispatch processes. This role is critical in ensuring smooth inbound and outbound logistics, maintaining accurate stock levels, and leading the warehouse team to meet production and customer delivery timelines. Success in this role will be defined by the Warehouse Lead’s ability to ensure accurate, real-time inventory tracking with minimal discrepancies, while maintaining smooth and timely material flow for both inbound and outbound operations. The role requires effective coordination with production and dispatch teams to avoid delays, optimize warehouse space utilization, and maintain an organized layout. A strong focus on safety, adherence to 5S standards, and team supervision will be critical. Ultimately, success will be measured by operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and the seamless support the warehouse function provides to overall business needs. Objectives of the job 1. Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments, receipts, and inventory movements. 2. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure accurate inventory records. Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies. 3. Team Management: Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe working practices. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed. 4. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions. 5. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operations. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree. Experience: 5-6 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field. Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software (e.g., WMS).
