Job Description

Department: Application Management Team Salary- 2LPA to 5LPA (Depending upon your experience and interview performance Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Oracle APEX Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle Application Express (APEX) environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. The role involves supporting development teams, troubleshooting issues, managing upgrades, and implementing best practices for Oracle APEX solutions. Key Responsibilities: Oracle APEX Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle APEX on Oracle databases and web servers (e.g., ORDS, WebLogic, Tomcat). Perform upgrades and patching of APEX, ORDS, and supporting technologies. Manage APEX workspaces, users, and security settings. Monitor system health, performance, and resource usage. Support and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APEX applications, ORDS, and database connectivity. Ensure data integrity, backup, and disaster recovery processes for APEX environments. Implement and enforce security best practices for APEX applications and infrastructure. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to support APEX application deployment and lifecycle. Provide technical guidance and support for APEX developers, including performance tuning and optimization. Assist in capacity planning and system scaling. Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, configurations, and SOPs. Prepare reports on system performance, usage, and incidents. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Oracle APEX, ORDS, and related technologies. Recommend and implement process improvements and automation where applicable. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Comp.) /Master’s degree in IT, Computer applications, or Finance related field. Experience: Minimum 4 -6 years of experience as Oracle APEX Admin. Strong knowledge of: o Oracle APEX architecture and components. o Oracle databases (12c, 19c, or higher). o ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) configuration and administration. o Web server technologies (Tomcat, WebLogic, or similar). o SQL, PL/SQL, and database management concepts. · Experience with APEX performance tuning and troubleshooting. · Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures. · Understanding of security best practices for APEX applications. · Good communication and problem-solving skills. · Able to check Tomcat alert log and trace file for errors. · Perform apex workspace migration activities. · Perform Export and Import oracle application with express workspace. · Able to perform Oracle Apex installation and configuration using ORDS & TOMCAT. · Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems. E.g. Jira, ServiceNow. · Understanding over Application Security, Audit, Compliance requirement for an enterprise application. Preferred Qualifications: · Certifications: Oracle certifications in Oracle APEX or Oracle Database Administrator will be plus. · Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines for APEX deployment). Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Ability to commute/relocate: Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Will you be able to attend face to face interview with the client?
