Job Description: MICE Operations Manager 

Position: MICE Operations Manager 

Location: Andheri 

Department: Events/Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute corporate meetings, incentive programs, conferences, and event 

projects. 

  • Manage client communication from initial briefing to post-event follow-up. 
  • Coordinate with hotels, venues, suppliers, and service providers for logistical arrangements. 
  • Supervise on-site event execution including setup, guest management, and troubleshooting. 
  • Develop detailed event budgets, proposals, and timelines. 
  • Lead and train a team of event coordinators and support staff. 
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements. 
  • Analyze event performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in MICE operations or event management. 
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Proficient in event management software and MS Office Suite. 
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours. 


Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in project management methodologies and multitasking across large-scale events. 
  • Advanced knowledge of event management and travel industry software, including CRM and 

venue sourcing tools. 

  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities within the hospitality, travel, and 

vendor ecosystem. 

  • Fluency in multiple languages for international event coordination and client engagement. 
  • Analytical thinking for KPI tracking, budgeting, and event outcome analysis. 
  • Creative problem-solving and innovation, especially under pressure or evolving 

circumstances. 

  • Up-to-date with global trends, sustainability practices, and eco-friendly initiatives in event 

management. 

  • Solid negotiation skills with vendors and venues to maximize value. 
  • Strategic marketing skills to promote events and enhance brand visibility. 
  • Strong customer orientation, empathy, and stakeholder management. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for pitch delivery, client interactions, and 

reporting.
