Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficient workflow across all departments, and driving productivity while maintaining quality standards. This role requires strategic planning, process optimization, and strong leadership to achieve organizational goals. The Operations Manager will also coordinate between design, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and client service teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Operational Management

  • Develop and implement operational policies, systems, and processes for smooth workflow.
  • Plan and monitor daily business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and ensure targets are met.

2. Project Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate with design, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

3. Resource & Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor department heads and team members.
  • Allocate resources effectively for maximum productivity.
  • Conduct regular training and performance reviews.

4. Financial & Budget Control

  • Prepare and manage operational budgets.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in operations.
  • Approve vendor contracts and manage supplier relationships.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain and improve quality control processes across operations.

6. Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular operational updates to senior management.
  • Collaborate across departments to improve workflow and problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field .
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in operations, preferably in interior design, construction, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

  • Ernakulam North, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
