Role Overview

Unit Manager


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Excellence

  • Lead all aspects of outlet operations including dining, bar, kitchen coordination, and guest service.
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Maintain operational efficiency through strong floor management and team coordination.
  • Drive consistency in food quality, service delivery, and ambience.

Financial & Business Management

  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets for the unit.
  • Monitor daily sales, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Prepare and analyze P&L statements and implement strategies to enhance margins.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement within budget.

People Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members to uphold brand values and service quality.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and development sessions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest-first attitude.

Guest Relations & Brand Experience

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience with personalized service and quick issue resolution.
  • Build loyal customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
  • Maintain the brand’s tone and personality across all touchpoints of the outlet.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies including FSSAI, excise, fire, and labor laws.
  • Submit operational and financial reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with central departments (HR, Marketing, Finance, Projects) for smooth functioning.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
  • 5–8 years

    of experience in restaurant or bar operations, with at least

    2 years in a managerial role

    .
  • Proven track record in high-volume casual dining or pub environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
