Paras Hospital is hiring Operation Manager for Gurgaon location.

Position Overview:

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Consultant & Clinical Coordination

  • Establish and maintain effective coordination with all consultants and clinical teams.
  • Participate in clinical rounds to ensure smooth communication and timely administrative support.
  • Facilitate effective resolution of operational and patient-related issues during hospitalization.

2. Patient Management & Admission Oversight

  • Personally, interact with all admitted patients under designated departments to ensure superior patient experience.
  • Coordinate with the Bed Management and Front Office teams for planned admissions, pre-admission documentation, and room allocation.
  • Prepare cost estimates, monitor billing recovery, and ensure discharge processes are completed without delays.
  • Support family meetings with treating consultants in case of complications or special situations.

3. Departmental Performance & Conversion Management

  • Drive daily OPD and IPD performance to achieve set departmental targets.
  • Monitor OPD-to-IPD conversion ratios and take initiatives to optimize patient conversion.
  • Ensure consultant engagement and timely sharing of department performance dashboards.

4. Financial & Operational Control

  • Own and manage the departmental

    P&L

    , ensuring achievement of monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Control operating expenses and resource utilization in line with budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintain and analyse daily operational and financial data, presenting weekly reports to the Unit Head Administration.

5. Marketing & Business Development

  • Prepare a

    Monthly Marketing Activity Planner

    in coordination with consultants and the marketing team.
  • Support execution of awareness programs, referral engagements, and patient education initiatives.
  • Track impact of marketing efforts on patient footfalls and departmental revenue.

6. Quality & Patient Experience

  • Ensure adherence to hospital quality standards and service protocols.
  • Monitor and address patient feedback and complaints promptly.
  • Support accreditation, audit, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Deliverables:

  • Achievement of monthly OPD/IPD revenue targets.
  • Manage the departmental

    P&L.

  • Defined OPD-to-IPD, conversion ratios.
  • Departmental cost, optimization and budget adherence.
  • Timely submission of reports and marketing plans.
  • High patient satisfaction with zero unresolved escalations.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Essential:

    BDS + Master’s in Hospital Administration (MHA) or equivalent.
  • Experience:

    5–8 years in hospital operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in

    MIS reporting

    , data analysis, and healthcare operations software.
