Operations Head

Job Title: Head of Operations – Manufacturing (Home Appliances)

Job Profile:

The Head of Operations will be responsible for leading and overseeing all manufacturing operations in a home appliances production facility. This includes production planning, quality control, supply chain management, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires strategic thinking, team leadership, and deep industry knowledge to ensure efficient production and delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:1. Production & Manufacturing Management

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Oversee production planning and resource allocation (manpower, machinery, materials).
• Monitor KPIs such as production efficiency, downtime, yield, and cost per unit.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all products meet internal quality benchmarks and external regulatory standards.
• Work with QA/QC teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive ISO and other relevant quality/compliance certifications.

3. Supply Chain & Procurement

• Manage end-to-end supply chain, including vendor development, procurement, and inbound logistics.
• Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and finished goods.

4. Logistics & Distribution

• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished goods through effective coordination with logistics partners.
• Oversee warehouse operations, stock audits, and transport planning.

5. Team Management & Coordination

• Lead a cross-functional team of production, maintenance, quality, stores, and logistics personnel.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

6. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare annual operational budgets and control manufacturing costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in operations and process optimization.

7. Technology & Automation

• Evaluate and implement automation and modern manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity.
• Drive digital transformation in plant operations and reporting systems.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in operations management in the manufacturing sector, preferably in home appliances or consumer durables.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office tools.

Managing Director / CEO

Location: Dahisar, Mumbai

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
