Operations Head

Position Overview

The Head of India Operations will lead and manage the India-based team of professionals responsible for delivering monthly accounting, VAT filing, auditing, and corporate tax filing and other corporate services for UAE-based clients. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and expertise in cross-border compliance to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction. The position reports directly to senior management and plays a pivotal role in aligning India operations with the company’s global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the India office, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
• Manage workload distribution, deadlines, and quality control across the team.
• Implement structured workflows and error-proofing mechanisms for compliance tasks.
• Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of employees, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to enhance technical and professional skills.
• Client Service & Compliance
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly accounting, providing monthly MIS to clients, timely filing of VAT, corporate tax, and audit reports for UAE-based clients.
• Act as the escalation point for client queries, providing reassurance and clarity in complex compliance matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and polished documentation.
• Strategic Contribution
• Collaborate with senior management to align India operations with overall business goals.
• Provide insights on resource planning, cost optimization, and operational scalability.
• Support business development by ensuring India operations are positioned as a reliable backbone for client delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, and tax compliance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

· Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations will be an added advantage.

· Proven track record of managing teams and delivering cross-border compliance services.
