Ltd.—including FP Men, House of FP, Lil Fancy, and 19-20—our production runs year-round across women’s wear, men’s wear, and kids’ wear.

Role Overview

Production & Operations Manager


Key Responsibilities

1. Order Management & Fulfillment

  • Manage daily orders across website, marketplaces, and B2B channels.
  • Create production sheets, allocate tasks, and track order timelines.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely shipping.
  • Ensure quality checks before packing and resolve production delays quickly.

2. Production Planning & Coordination

  • Plan weekly and monthly production schedules based on order load.
  • Coordinate with tailors, sampling team, pattern masters, printers, and dyers.
  • Maintain fabric inventory, trims, and raw material requirements.
  • Oversee stitching, finishing, QC, and ensure adherence to brand quality standards.
  • Manage outsourcing partners when required.

3. Marketplace Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for marketplaces (Nykaa Fashion, Tata Cliq etc.).
  • Align listings, order details, dispatch SLAs, and updates with marketplace teams.
  • Ensure products meet marketplace quality, packaging, and documentation guidelines.
  • Monitor marketplace order flow and reduce cancellations/returns.

4. Operations & Process Management

  • Implement efficient production processes to reduce errors and delays.
  • Maintain production reports, daily MIS, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between design, production, and warehouse teams.
  • Solve day-to-day operational challenges and workforce management.
  • Conduct regular QC audits and maintain production floor discipline.

5. Communication & Team Leadership

  • Manage team of tailors, helpers, QC staff, dispatch executives, and coordinators.
  • Ensure continuous communication with the founding team for timelines and updates.
  • Train team members on new processes, quality standards, and workflows.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–7 years experience in production/operations in apparel or fashion manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of stitching, pattern making, fabrics, and finishing.
  • Experience handling Shopify / ERP systems (basic).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage high-pressure timelines.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with marketplace portals and guidelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Production Management preferred.
