Job Summary:

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management:

• Oversee day-to-day apparel manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, timelines, and quality standards are met.
• Plan and allocate production schedules, manpower, and resources effectively.
• Coordinate with the production, merchandising, and design teams for smooth order execution.

• Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

• Maintain optimal inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor supply chain logistics, vendor performance, and procurement processes.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely dispatch and delivery.

• Quality Control:

• Implement and monitor quality control systems to maintain high product standards.
• Identify defects, reduce rework, and ensure compliance with buyer specifications.

• Process Optimization:

• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest solutions to improve productivity and reduce cost.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and best industry standards.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams including production, quality, warehouse, and procurement.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of team members.

• Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare production and operational reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, Operations Management

  , or related field.
• Minimum

  5-7 years of experience

  in apparel/garment manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of

  production planning, supply chain, quality standards, and compliance

  in the apparel industry.
• Proficient in

  MS Office, ERP systems

  , and production tracking software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
