Key Responsibilities


Office & Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Bangalore R&D office, ensuring workspace readiness, safety, and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with landlords, building management, and key vendors (internet, facilities, security, catering).
  • Maintain a productive, compliant, and cost-effective work environment.
  • Handle procurement of IT equipment, office supplies, and software licenses.
  • Track and reconcile office expenses, petty cash, and vendor invoices with the finance team.
  • Support accounting and payroll coordination in collaboration with external partners or the finance team.
  • Organize all-hands meetings, local events, and logistics for visiting executives and clients.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel for team members.

  • HR & People Operations

    • Manage recruitment logistics — interview scheduling, candidate coordination, and onboarding assistance.
    • Lead new hire onboarding, HR documentation, workspace setup, and induction programs.
    • Maintain employee records and HRIS data, ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies.
    • Support payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management processes.
    • Coordinate statutory compliance activities (PF, ESI, gratuity, and labor documentation).
    • Drive employee engagement, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.
    • Serve as the HR point of contact for Bangalore — addressing employee concerns, documentation, and communications.

  • Cross-Team Coordination & Communication

    • Act as the main liaison between the Bangalore office and the CTO (USA) for administrative, HR, and operational matters.
    • Communicate company policies, announcements, and leadership updates to the local team.
    • Partner with global finance and HR to ensure alignment on budgets, payroll, and compliance.
    • Support audit readiness, policy implementation, and internal reporting for HR and operations.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in 

      Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or Office Management

      .
    • 5+ years of experience

       in 

      office administration, HR operations, or people management

       within a tech or R&D organization.
    • Strong understanding of 

      HR compliance, employee onboarding, and vendor management

      .
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
    • Proficiency in 

      Google Workspace, MS Office

      , and tools such as 

      Trello/Jira

       or HRIS systems.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate with global teams across time zones.
