Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales operations across India. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in the Beauty & Personal Care industry, with a proven track record in handling PAN India sales, team leadership, and achieving consistent business growth. This role requires strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to build and manage a high-performing sales force.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy in alignment with company goals.
  • Drive primary and secondary sales targets across all regions (North, South, East, West, Central).
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Sales Officers.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand distribution channels (General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, etc.).
  • Establish strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key retailers.
  • Monitor sales performance through KPIs, field visits, and regular review meetings.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to drive product and sales improvements.
  • Coordinate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain teams to ensure business alignment.
  • Plan and execute product launches, trade promotions, and sales campaigns at a national level.
  • Ensure proper implementation of CRM tools, reporting apps, and automation systems for field force productivity.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in the Beauty & Personal Care industry.
  • Hands-on experience in managing PAN India sales operations.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of channel dynamics, pricing, and distribution models in the FMCG/Beauty Care sector.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across regions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel analytics, and sales automation tools.
  • Experience in scaling up new brands or product categories will be a plus.
