Job Description

* Job Title: Business Head – FMCG * Location- Uttarakhand (Relocate candidates can apply) * Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO * Age Range: 45–55 years (Strictly not exceeding 55) * Gender: Male * Educational Qualifications: * Graduate (Mandatory) * MBA in Sales/Marketing/Business Management (Preferred) * Languages: * Fluent in Hindi, English, and at least one regional language (spoken and understood) * Proficient in reading and writing Hindi and English * Work Experience: * Minimum 10 years as a Business Head in the FMCG secto * Maximum 25 years of total experience * Experience must be from core FMCG companies; candidates from Telecom, Banking, Insurance, etc., will not be considered * Compensation: * Current CTC: ₹1,80,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month * Expected CTC: 15–20% hike on current salary * Additional allowances for travel, internet, and fieldwork expenses ** Key Responsibilities:* * Strategic Planning & Execution: * Formulate and implement sales strategies to drive top-line growth in domestic and export markets. * Develop innovative plans for brand management and market promotion of existing and new products. * Sales & Market Development: * Develop sales plans and policies to increase/sustain market share and profitability. * Implement effective monitoring mechanisms to ensure achievement of sales targets. * Channel Management: * Establish policies and guidelines for smooth functioning and satisfaction of channel partners, including dealers, distributors, and stockists. * Market Intelligence: * Analyze competitor activities, demand-supply scenarios, and regulatory issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share. * Brand & Business Development: * Facilitate market development, brand management, and business development in domestic and export markets. * Monitor pricing patterns and adjust pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability. * Operational Excellence: * Initiate market intelligence systems to provide monthly reports on potential data, competitor activities, and new product opportunities. * Develop policies for field force monitoring and people management to enhance satisfaction and portfolio growth. * Sales Cycle Management: * Manage the complete sales cycle from business development and customer acquisition to receipt of payments. * Key Accountabilities: * Achieve sales targets and objectives. * Grow market share and strengthen distribution networks. * Identify and develop new markets. * Implement sales and marketing strategies, including retail, modern trade, and institutional sales. * Establish CRM tools and systems. * Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, CSAs, retailers, and stockists. * Optimize costs in retail operations. * Develop a robust market intelligence/information system. * Train, develop, and monitor sales and distribution personnel. * Ideal Candidate Profile: * Proven leadership experience in the FMCG sector with a strong track record of driving sales and market expansion. * Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive business plans. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends. * Ability to lead and motivate large teams across multiple regions.
