Role OverviewThe MIS Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining management information systems and reports that provide key insights for business decision-making. This role involves data analysis, report automation, and ensuring accuracy of business intelligence across multiple functions. Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources (sales, operations, inventory, finance, etc.). Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review. Develop dashboards, trackers, and automated reporting tools to improve efficiency. Monitor store performance and provide actionable insights to business leaders. Support cross-functional teams with data analysis for strategic initiatives. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports. Identify trends, variances, and potential risks through data analysis. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance reporting tools and systems. Maintain documentation of reporting processes and ensure compliance with internal standards. Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), Power BI/Tableau (preferred), and SQL. Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Statistics, Commerce, IT, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in MIS, business analysis, or reporting (preferably in retail/FMCG sector). Experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools will be an advantage.
