Mechanical Shift Engineer – SPL

Job Title: Operations Coordinator Department: Operations Reports To: Operations Manager / Shift Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time / Shift-Based Work Model: Onsite Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to oversee and facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure seamless daily operations. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of contact between operational units including maintenance, quality assurance, health and safety, logistics, and IT. Key Responsibilities: Team Coordination: Communicate with operations team members to assign daily tasks, manage workflows, and resolve on-ground operational challenges. Maintenance Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance personnel to schedule equipment servicing, report issues, and ensure timely upkeep to minimize downtime. Quality Assurance Interface: Collaborate with QA teams to monitor slurry and material quality, ensure adherence to product specifications, and resolve quality-related concerns. Health & Safety Compliance: Partner with HSE officers to uphold workplace safety standards, assist in safety training sessions, and participate in routine audits and inspections. Logistics & Supply Management: Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain team to track material availability and ensure timely delivery of equipment and raw materials. Shift Reporting: Liaise with shift supervisors and management to report performance metrics, escalate issues, and contribute to strategic decision-making. IT & Data Analytics Support: Interface with IT staff to troubleshoot operational software systems, ensure proper data flow, and support performance monitoring through analytics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field 3–5 years of experience in plant operations or coordination roles Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with industrial equipment and maintenance protocols Basic knowledge of quality and safety standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic ERP/data systems Preferred Qualifications: Experience in manufacturing or process industries Familiarity with data analytics tools or dashboards Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma principles Join our team and contribute to the seamless execution of operations that drive quality, safety, and efficiency across departments.
