Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MarTech Lead with deep technical expertise in marketing automation and campaign management platforms such as HCL Unica, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CleverTap, or similar enterprise B2C tools. The role involves end-to-end technical ownership — from requirement gathering, solution design, installation, configuration, and customization, to integration with enterprise systems and data sources.


Key Responsibilities


Requirement Analysis & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements from the ground up.
  • Translate marketing and data flow requirements into scalable, high-performance campaign management architectures.
  • Design audience schemas, data flow structures, and integration blueprints.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guidelines, and data mapping sheets.

Installation, Configuration & Environment Setup

  • Install and configure enterprise-grade campaign management platforms (HCL Unica, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CleverTap, etc.).
  • Set up and maintain multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod) ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Configure application servers, listener services, and system connectivity with databases or external data sources.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams to enable optimal setup across on-premise or cloud environments.

Customization & Development

  • Customize platform components using SDKs, APIs, or scripting based on client-specific requirements.
  • Develop or enhance ETL workflows and integrations supporting complex data models.
  • Implement secure and efficient data transfer mechanisms (REST APIs, SFTP, JDBC, or flat file).
  • Extend platform functionalities in alignment with enterprise architecture and best practices.

Integration & Data Flow Management

  • Integrate campaign management tools with CRM, CDP, DMP, CMS, and analytics systems.
  • Enable seamless data exchange with data warehouses, identity management systems, and third-party applications.
  • Define and implement secure data synchronization processes and automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and security teams for compliance and governance adherence.

Maintenance, Support & Optimization

  • Conduct platform health checks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Plan and execute version upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and integration engineers.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and optimization initiatives.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 6–8 years of total experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following tools: HCL Unica Campaign / Interact, Adobe Campaign Classic / Standard, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CleverTap / MoEngage / Netcore, or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience in installation, configuration, customization, and integration of marketing automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of data models, relational databases (Oracle, MariaDB, SQL Server, etc.), and data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), SFTP, and web service-based data integrations.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based environments, shell scripting, and application server configuration.
  • Working knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to interface effectively with technical and business teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating campaign platforms with CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics), DWH, and analytics ecosystems.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps deployment frameworks.
  • Platform certifications in any major MarTech or campaign tool (Adobe, Salesforce, HCL, etc.) preferred.
