Job Description

Position: Marketing Manager – Sales and Admissions – Central Team

Experience Required: Overall 5+ years (From School only)

Location: Pune

Reports to: Director – School


Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading, strategizing, and managing the entire sales and admissions for the school. The role requires strong leadership, relationship management, and communication skills to attract, evaluate, and enrol students who are the right fit for the institution. The individual will also be responsible for building the school’s brand presence, ensuring a seamless sales and admission journey, and aligning with the school’s vision and values.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall admissions strategy to meet student enrolment targets.

• Manage and lead the admissions team to ensure efficiency, professionalism, and positive parent/student experience.

• Handle end-to-end admission process, including inquiries, counselling, school tours, assessments, interviews, and final enrolment.

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales team to design campaigns, events, and outreach programs to enhance visibility and attract prospective students.

• Maintain and analyse admissions data, prepare reports, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

• Build strong relationships with parents, students, and external stakeholders to promote trust and transparency.

• Stay updated with educational trends, competitor schools, and parent expectations to continuously refine the admissions approach.

• Ensure compliance with school policies, CBSE State Board norms, and legal requirements.

• Represent the school at external events, education fairs, and networking opportunities.

• Drive initiatives to improve parent satisfaction and retention of enrolled students.

• Ability to plan, strategize, and execute admission targets effectively.

• Proficiency in data analysis and use of admissions/CRM software.

• Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills.

• High emotional intelligence and ability to deal with sensitive situations professionally.


Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Management, Marketing, Education, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in school admissions, school sales, or related fields, with at least 3+ years of relevant experience in managing 5000+ admissions each year

• Prior experience in reputed schools is mandatory

• The individual must understand all sources of admissions, like digital marketing, branding, Call Centre management, residential engagement activity, societal activities, etc.

• Must be able to conduct marketing and business development activities for the school at different locations.
