Marketing Manager – BookMyLabs (Healthcare / Diagnostics)

Location: Ranchi.

Role Overview

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead growth and brand-building efforts for BookMyLabs in your region (Ranchi and surroundings). Your primary responsibility will be to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through both digital and offline channels, while also building partnerships and local presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase BookMyLabs’ market share in the region.
  • Identify target customer segments (e.g., patients, doctors, labs, pharmacies) and tailor campaigns accordingly.
  • Set quarterly and annual marketing goals (KPIs) aligned with business objectives.
  • Digital Marketing
  • Oversee digital campaigns (social media, search engine marketing, email marketing).
  • Work on content marketing (blogs, videos, infographics) focused on diagnostics, preventive care, and home sample collection.
  • Analyze performance metrics (CPL, CAC, LTV) and optimize campaigns for ROI.
  • Offline Marketing & Field Activation
  • Plan and execute offline campaigns: local community outreach, health camps, pharmacies, clinics.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with local diagnostic labs, pharmacies, and clinics to drive referrals.
  • Coordinate events, roadshows, and health camps to increase brand visibility and trust.
  • Partnerships & Alliances
  • Identify and onboard diagnostic labs, phlebotomy partners, and other service providers.
  • Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and doctors for referral partnerships.
  • Negotiate and manage co-marketing initiatives with partners.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention
  • Lead user acquisition initiatives (both paid and organic).
  • Design loyalty/referral programs to boost repeat usage.
  • Work with the product team to improve user onboarding and reduce drop-offs.
  • Brand & Communications
  • Build and maintain BookMyLabs' local brand image.
  • Manage PR, local media relations, and communication around health-related topics.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collaterals (brochures, flyers, digital assets).
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics; generate reports for senior management.
  • Use market research and customer insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends in the diagnostics and healthcare aggregator space.
  • Budget Management
  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget.
  • Allocate spends across channels (digital, offline, partnerships) efficiently.
  • Ensure marketing spends deliver measurable ROI.
  • Team Management
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a small marketing team (if applicable) — field marketers, digital marketers, content people.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, product, sales, and customer support.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: 5–8 years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or digital health sector.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of both digital and offline marketing channels.
  • Experience in performance marketing, content marketing, and partnership marketing.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Self-starter, proactive, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Good networking skills; ability to build relationships with labs, doctors, and pharmacies.
  • Customer-centric, with a strong sense of integrity and ethics in healthcare.
  • Locations / Travel: Willingness to travel locally and regionally (for event activations, partner meetings, etc.).

  • Number of new users booked via marketing campaigns
  • Cost per acquisition (CPA) and customer lifetime value (CLTV)
  • Conversion rate from campaign to booking
  • Number and quality of partnerships (labs, clinics, pharmacies)
  • Retention rate / repeat bookings
  • Brand awareness metrics in the region (surveys, social reach)
  • ROI on marketing spends

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
