About the Role



Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) Administrator

Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Administrators play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Salesforce’s B2B marketing automation platform. Sitting at the intersection of marketing and technology, they ensure the system is configured to effectively generate, nurture, and convert leads. Their responsibilities span system administration, marketing operations, data integrity, and performance analytics.


Key Responsibilities


1. User and Access Management

  • Configure and manage user accounts, roles, and permission sets.
  • Train marketing and sales teams to use the platform efficiently and in alignment with business processes.

2. Marketing Automation Development

  • Design and maintain automation rules, dynamic lists, segmentation, and engagement studio programs.
  • Implement and manage lead nurturing strategies and lead scoring models.

3. CRM Integration

  • Maintain a seamless integration between Pardot and Salesforce CRM.
  • Monitor and resolve sync errors, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

4. Campaign Execution and Management

  • Build and launch marketing assets including landing pages, forms, emails, and automation flows.
  • Track and optimize campaign performance and prospect engagement.

5. Data Management and Governance

  • Oversee list segmentation, tagging, and data import/export processes.
  • Ensure data is handled securely and in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

6. Reporting and Analytics

  • Analyze campaign metrics and marketing ROI.
  • Create and distribute performance reports to stakeholders for continuous improvement.

7. Compliance and Privacy

  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CCPA.
  • Implement consent management, opt-in workflows, and data retention policies.


Key Skills and Tools

  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and its data architecture
  • Expertise in Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) functionality
  • HTML/CSS knowledge for customizing email and landing page templates
  • Strong grasp of marketing automation best practices
  • Understanding of B2B marketing funnels and strategies
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
