Market Research Executive – International Business (Logistics)

Mumbai | Full-time

1–3 years


Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Market Research Executive to support our International Business (IB) vertical. The role focuses on opportunity mapping across global logistics, lead generation, competitive benchmarking, and analytical support for enterprise sales growth.


Key Responsibilities

International Market Research & Insights

  • Study export/import markets, eCommerce lanes, and cross-border freight opportunities
  • Analyze global trade flows, HS codes, export patterns, key product categories, and destination-wise demand
  • Identify high-potential shippers: exporters, D2C brands, freight forwarders, SMEs, etc.
  • Track emerging trade clusters across US, UK, EU, Middle East, and APAC


Lead Generation & Prospect Profiling

  • Leverage tools such as Trade databases, Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, DGFT reports, and business directories
  • Evaluate prospects on shipment volume, product category, logistics needs, and compliance requirements
  • Build industry-focused prospect lists (pharma, fashion, engineering, handicrafts, electronics, etc.)


Competitor & Market Mapping

  • Monitor global logistics players (DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex, aggregators, freight forwarders)
  • Track pricing benchmarks, service capabilities, and customs/trade regulation updates


Sales Enablement & Pipeline Support

  • Qualify leads and hand off enterprise opportunities to the field IB team
  • Support with data insights for pitch decks, proposals, RFP/RFQ submissions
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and visibility on lead progression


Reporting & Analytics

  • Deliver weekly insights and dashboards on market outcomes, opportunities, and pipeline quality
  • Present research findings to leadership to support strategic decision making


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business / Logistics / Supply Chain / Marketing or related field
  • 1–3 years in market research / international logistics / export-import / B2B lead generation
  • Understanding of cross-border eCommerce, customs processes, and international trade lanes
  • Skilled in data research, analysis, and insight-driven reporting
  • Proficient with CRM and global lead-gen tools
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Self-driven, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-paced commercial environment
