Sales – B2B Market Research

About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Market Research Executive to strengthen our B2B acquisition engine. The role focuses on market research, prospect identification, and outbound outreach—enabling our field sales team to engage high-potential business accounts effectively within the logistics and supply chain ecosystem


Key Responsibilities

B2B Market Research & Intelligence

  • Identify high-potential prospects across manufacturers, exporters, distributors, eCommerce sellers, and corporate shippers
  • Analyze logistics needs, shipment volumes, key decision-maker profiles, and operational challenges
  • Track competitor benchmarks, pricing dynamics, and sector movement


Lead Generation & Prospect Development

  • Utilize platforms like Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha, IndiaMart, etc., for strategic prospecting
  • Build and qualify a strong pipeline based on business scale, revenue, CN volumes, category, and supply chain needs
  • Execute outbound engagement (calls, emails, LinkedIn) with mid–senior leaders across logistics and supply chain functions
  • Qualiffy and schedule meetings for the B2B field sales team using frameworks such as BANT / SPIN / CHAMP


CRM & Funnel Management

  • Maintain accurate data and real-time updates in CRM tools (Salesforce / HubSpot)
  • Build data intelligence for priority sectors — FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Fashion, Electronics, D2C, etc


Collaboration & Performance Reporting

  • Partner with B2B sales managers to refine targeting strategy and value propositions
  • Deliver weekly insights on pipeline health, outreach performance, and industry trends
  • Achieve KPIs around qualified leads, scheduled meetings, outreach volume, and CRM hygiene


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant discipline
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B inside sales, lead generation or market research (logistics or shipping sector preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholder engagement experience
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM and lead-gen tools
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Target-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
