JOB PURPOSE

Play a important role in ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while also contributing to the company's long-term competitiveness.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing:

* Lead the development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles across all production areas.

* Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and operational efficiency using tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma.

* Facilitate workshops and training to drive cultural transformation and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

2. Data Analysis & Performance Metrics:

* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess manufacturing performance and identify areas for improvement.

* Collect and analyze production data to track progress toward goals, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets are met.

* Drive initiatives to improve product yield, downtime, throughput, and other critical manufacturing metrics.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration:

* Work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment in achieving production goals and addressing bottlenecks or quality issues.

* Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure best practices and lessons learned are shared across the organization.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

* Lead and coach the manufacturing teams in a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and safety.

* Develop training programs to enhance the skills of the workforce in areas such as lean tools, problem-solving, and operational excellence.

* Oversee the development and performance of direct reports, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering career growth.

5. Sustainability & Cost Reduction:

* Identify and implement cost-saving measures, including resource optimization, waste reduction, and energy efficiency improvements.

* Work with leadership to set and achieve financial targets related to cost control and manufacturing efficiencies.

6. Safety & Quality Compliance:

* Ensure manufacturing operations adhere to all safety, regulatory, and environmental guidelines.

* Lead initiatives to maintain high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality requirements and certifications.

7. Technology and Innovation:

* Explore new technologies, automation, and digital tools that can improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and integrate innovative manufacturing techniques to maintain competitive advantages.

8. Reporting & Documentation:

* Regularly report on manufacturing excellence initiatives and progress to senior management.

* Maintain accurate records of improvement projects, KPIs, cost savings, and other performance metrics.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data, identify trends, and develop action plans.

* Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency with manufacturing software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI, Minitab).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education : -

* Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

Experience : -

* At least 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations or a similar role, with a focus on process improvement and lean manufacturing.

* Proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving measurable results in manufacturing environments.

* Experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading projects.

Certifications (Optional but advantageous)

Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) / Lean Manufacturing Certification / Other relevant certifications in manufacturing or quality management.
