Main Job Purpose:

Manufacturing Manager has overall responsibility for a unit within a factory. The MM leads all deliverables of the unit on SHE, Quality, Cost, Service & ER end to end and is a key member of the factory leadership team reporting to the factory manager.

Key Accountabilities:

Deliver al core KPIs of his/her unit includingSHE – Leading Indicators.Ensure compliance to all established SHE systemsQuality – DPMU reduction thru focused QIPs, hygiene improvementsProductivity – meeting OEE Glide path & driving capacity improvementsService – Ensure plan compliance and adapt to planner changes.Costs – Meeting ManEx Cost targets; Owns RR and works to improve efficiencies in line with lower repair costs by using WCM principles.Wastage – Driving technical efficiency reductionControls – Ensuring all Control elements are fully metInnovation / Technology / Process Changes – Work with suit to land OTIFQPeople – Ensure motivated shopfloor work force to deliver best results.Continuous Improvement – Lead Kaizen / Continuous improvement mindset in factory through employee engagement.Support factory manager (as a member of the factory leadership team) to execute factory master plan & on key operational decisions.Core team member in LTS discussions.

Essential

Professional Skills:

Minimum BE/B.Tech in engineering.Worked with reasonably big shopfloor managing multiple front line executives & blue collar workforce

May not necessitate too much travel as this is a site based role
