The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Filing of documents and vouchers in an orderly manner. Verification of petty cash on weekly basis. Should be able to handle TDS and GST queries. Should be familiar with filing of TDS and GST returns. Finalize accounts on a monthly basis and co-ordinate with Tax Audit Team. Periodical reporting to be made to the Team Lead. Requirements: Proficiency in accounting software Tally. Oracle knowledge is preferable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Manufacturing Manager chennai 7 - 12 years INR 12.0 - 16.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

NCH is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and strengthen our India operational activities, including warehouse management, chemical blending, regulatory compliance, import operations, quality systems, and production planning. This role is critical for ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and scalable operations that support continued business growth across multiple product lines. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations & Warehouse Management Lead day-to-day operations of the warehouse, blending facility, and local distribution . Implement best-practice warehouse safety standards , chemical storage norms, and housekeeping. Establish and maintain FIFO , stock controls, and systems to reduce obsolete inventory. Oversee hazardous goods handling, storage, segregation, and documentation. 2. Chemical Blending & Production Oversight Oversee production planning and execution for chemical manufacturing. Ensure raw material qualification , hazard evaluation, and compliance with relevant regulations. Implement and maintain SOPs, ISO standards, QC protocols , and in-process quality checks. Strengthen capacity planning for high-demand product groups (e.g., Life Sciences). 3. Regulatory Compliance & Permits Lead and manage compliance with Indian regulations such as: Chemical import permits (BIS / CIB / CLP equivalents) Hazardous substance storage norms Pollution Control Board requirements Hazardous waste disposal regulations Import/Export documentation Work with regulatory bodies and ensure all relevant certificates and permissions are in place. Proactively manage audits, government inspections, and corrective actions. 4. Import Operations & Customs Management Ensure accurate HS code classification , import declarations, and adherence to DGFT and customs norms. Manage relationships with customs brokers , shipping agents, and freight partners. Ensure smooth inbound logistics and timely clearance of shipments. Build robust processes for regulatory-driven imports (e.g., BIS, chemical permits). 5. Quality, ISO, and SOP Governance Maintain all SOPs, ISO documentation, QC protocols , and version control. Drive a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Develop and monitor operational KPIs and ensure performance adherence. 6. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Ensure compliance with safety standards for chemical handling, blending, and storage. Manage environmental compliance including wastewater handling, emissions, and ETP monitoring. Ensure proper hazardous waste disposal through certified partners. Conduct safety audits and enforce corrective actions. 7. Business Continuity & Risk Management Conduct risk assessments for operations, supply chain, and production. Identify and manage alternative sourcing, toll blending solutions, and contingency plans. Lead root-cause investigations and implement durable corrective actions. 8. People Management Lead and develop the operations team, ensuring skill development and succession readiness. Build collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain. Qualifications & Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Chemistry , Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 7 to 12 years of experience in chemical manufacturing , warehouse management , or operations leadership . Strong understanding of: India import regulations & customs compliance Hazardous chemicals storage norms Pollution Control Board requirements ISO systems (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001) Proven experience in implementing SOPs, QC systems, audits, and regulatory documentation . Experience managing a chemical blending facility or toll manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to handle regulatory permits, BIS, dangerous goods, and hazardous waste . Preferred Experience working in a multinational chemical company . Exposure to toll blending, outsourcing , and business continuity planning. Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions and countries. Strong communication skills for working with global and regional teams. SAP experience is highly preferred (MM, WM, PP, and basic reporting modules).
