Manufacturing Manager

The Manufacturing Manager will oversee end-to-end process design, fixture/tool development, production method improvement, and strict adherence to material and quality standards. This role demands high technical proficiency, planning abilities, and leadership qualities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Design manufacturing processes for precision components Create and interpret stage drawings, process sheets, and operational layouts Develop, modify, and improve jigs, fixtures, tools, and gauges for manufacturing efficiency Identify suitable tooling, drills, inserts, and cutting parameters for various machining applications Analyse processes to improve cycle times, reduce waste, and increase productivity Ensure compliance with international quality and material standards Resolve process issues across production, quality, planning, and maintenance teamsImplement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Stay updated on latest machining, cutting tool, and automation technologies Support New Product Development from a manufacturing and methods perspective Mentor and train production engineers and supervisors Candidate Profile Engineering graduate (Mechanical/Production/Industrial or similar) Minimum 15 years experience in precision machining manufacturing, preferably in production engineering, methods engineering, or continuous improvement roles Proven expertise in CNC & VMC operations, automats, and robotic machining systems Hands-on experience in stage drawing creation, tool and fixture development, and process design Should be conversant with AutoCAD or similar tool design software for layout and fixture/tooling development Proficiency in CAD/CAM integration for CNC programming and advanced machining operations Strong grasp of cutting tool technology, machining parameters, and process optimisationWell-versed with global material and quality standards Dynamic and result-oriented personality with excellent problem-solving skills Capable of leading and motivating shop-floor engineering and production teams Effective communication skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment Reporting To Head – Operations / Plant Head Growth OpportunityThe chosen candidate will have significant scope to expand into broader roles such as manufacturing excellence, automation projects, and future plant management as the organisation plans to reach 250 crores turnover in the next 2–3 years.
