About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to lead vendor onboarding, sourcing, product cataloging, and data management functions. The role also plays a key part in supporting the sales team with competitive pricing strategies and helping close deals faster. The ideal candidate will combine strong vendor relationship skills with business acumen, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the vendor onboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with vendors across multiple product categories.
  • Continuously evaluate vendor performance and negotiate favorable terms.

Sourcing & Pricing Strategy

  • Lead sourcing initiatives to ensure cost-effective procurement of products.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to maintain a strong competitive advantage.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply terms with vendors to maximize margins and improve deal closures.

Cataloging & Data Management

  • Supervise product catalog creation and maintenance across all categories, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee product content updates (titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing).
  • Implement systems and processes to manage large-scale vendor and product data efficiently.

Sales Support & Deal Enablement

  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide sourcing solutions and best pricing options.
  • Enable faster deal closures by offering alternate sourcing strategies and vendor options.
  • Support in creating customized catalogs or proposals for clients when required.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor a team of executives handling onboarding, sourcing, and cataloging activities.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
  • Drive process improvements for efficiency and scalability.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor vendor KPIs, pricing trends, and sourcing performance.
  • Present regular reports and insights to senior management for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management, sourcing, or procurement, preferably in e-commerce or B2B corporate gifting.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and vendor relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
