Job Summary A gas agency manager oversees the daily operations of a gas distribution or retail business, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, handling finances, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Here's a more detailed breakdown:Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Supervising daily operations, including fuel delivery, storage, and dispensing. Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies. Ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource allocation. Financial Management: Managing budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting on financial performance. Ensuring accurate cash handling and managing point-of-sale systems. Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising staff members. Creating work schedules and delegating tasks. Providing guidance and support to employees. Handling performance management and disciplinary actions. Safety and Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to hazardous materials. Conducting safety audits and addressing any safety concerns. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints. Building positive relationships with customers. Maintenance and Repairs: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, including pumps, tanks, and other machinery. Coordinating with maintenance personnel or external contractors.
