We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Project Logistics to lead sales initiatives, drive customer acquisition, and expand project cargo business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project logistics and heavy-lift operations, with a proven track record in generating leads, building client relationships, and achieving revenue growth through strategic business development.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in Project Logistics, ODC/Heavy Lift, and Industrial Cargo segments.
Generate and convert business leads by engaging with EPCs, OEMs, project consultants, and contractors.
Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, quotations, and presentations for project logistics assignments.
Develop competitive rate structures in coordination with Operations, Pricing, and Finance teams.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Achieve monthly and annual business targets by maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
Support bid management and tender participation for key project logistics opportunities.
Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Stay updated on market intelligence, competitor activities, and industry trends.
Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot) for lead tracking and performance reporting.
Graduate or Post-Graduate in any discipline (specialization in logistics/supply chain preferred).
8–10 years of experience in Project Logistics or Heavy-Lift Business Development.
Proven experience in handling industrial projects, ODC, and specialized cargo movements.
Excellent understanding of project logistics operations (road, barge, sea, and air).
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead cross-functional coordination.
Languages: English (mandatory); Tamil and Telugu (preferred).
