Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Manager to oversee and enhance our operations within a credit institution. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) and bring 8 to 10 years of managerial experience in the credit or financial services sector. This role involves leading a team, managing credit operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving organizational growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within the credit department, including credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan processing.
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure effective management of credit risk and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of credit professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on credit performance, risk exposure, and operational metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of credit applications and loan disbursements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and improve overall service delivery.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt credit policies and practices accordingly.
  • Manage relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues related to credit services.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and optimize credit processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :-
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related field.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive managerial experience in a credit institution or financial services environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using financial software and credit management systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of credit risk management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with clients and senior management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
