Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and proactive Store Assistant to support our inventory management and store operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) and have 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Tally and Excel is essential. The Store Assistant will be responsible for managing inventory, processing transactions, and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products.
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock.
Utilize Tally to manage inventory records, track transactions, and generate reports.
Use Excel to maintain and analyze inventory data, prepare reports, and support decision-making.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for order placements and follow-up on deliveries.
Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.
Assist customers with their inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues related to stock and transactions.
Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions and store activities.
Support store management in implementing and enforcing store policies and procedures.

Qualifications :-

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related field.
Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in a store or inventory management role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management and store operations.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members.
Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
