Job Summary:

As the Operations Manager at our 4-star resort, you will oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of the property to ensure exceptional guest experiences, smooth internal processes, and high service standards. You will lead key departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Recreation, aligning them with the resort’s vision, guest satisfaction goals, and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Supervise day-to-day resort operations across all departments.
• Ensure guest services meet or exceed 4-star standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as guest satisfaction, occupancy rates, and departmental efficiency.
• Conduct daily briefings and regular operational meetings.

Guest Experience

• Proactively address and resolve guest issues, complaints, and feedback.
• Work closely with Guest Relations and Front Office to ensure seamless check-in/check-out processes and personalized guest experiences.
• Monitor and manage online reviews, guest feedback, and survey scores.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and their teams.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance management in line with resort standards.
• Foster a positive, service-focused culture that encourages teamwork and accountability.

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist in developing annual operational budgets.
• Monitor and control departmental expenditures, labor costs, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with the finance department on forecasts and reporting.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all operations adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and legal standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Implement and monitor sustainability and environmental best practices.

Maintenance & Facilities

• Coordinate with the engineering/maintenance team to ensure all areas of the resort are well-maintained.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and address urgent repair needs promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial operations role in a 4-star or higher property.
• Strong knowledge of hotel/resort systems (PMS, POS, etc.)
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Guest-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,602.73 - ₹50,000.00 per month
