You are expected to be a "Leader of Leaders," focusing on market share, revenue targets, and portfolio health. Experience: 10–15 Years Reports to: National Head / VP Sales Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Define the sales strategy for the North Zone, identifying high-potential merchant clusters (Retail, Fuel, Hospitality, etc.). Sales & Revenue Ownership: Own the Zonal P&L. Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly targets for new terminal installations and Gross Community Value (GCV). Team Management: Hire, train, and mentor a team of 30+ sales professionals. Drive a culture of high performance and accountability. Portfolio Retention: Monitor merchant churn and ensure active usage of POS machines through effective relationship management. We are looking for an Operations Manager who lives and breathes spreadsheets, settlement cycles, and data integrity. Your primary mission will be to ensure that every rupee processed through our POS machines is accounted for, reconciled, and settled accurately. You will bridge the gap between our sales on the ground and the financial reality in our systems. Experience: 5–8 Years Domain: Fintech / Digital Payments / Banking Operations Key Responsibilities Transaction Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of transactions between our internal systems, Bank statements, and Nodal accounts. MIS Reporting: Design and maintain automated dashboards to track key metrics: GCV (Gross Contract Value), Active vs. Inactive terminals, MDR margins, and Churn rates. Settlement Management: Oversee the T+1/T+2 settlement cycles, ensuring merchants receive their payments on time and resolving any "payout failures" immediately. Dispute & Chargeback Handling: Manage the end-to-end process of chargebacks, representing the company with acquiring banks to minimize financial loss. Process Automation: Shift our operations from manual Excel-based tracking to automated MIS tools and ERP integrations. Audit & Compliance: Ensure all operational data is audit-ready and compliant with RBI guidelines regarding payment aggregators and POS operations. Technical Skills Required Excel Mastery: You must be an expert in Advanced Excel (VBA/Macros, Power Query, Pivot Tables). SQL Knowledge: Ability to run queries to extract data from databases is a massive plus. Fintech Tools: Experience with payment switch reports, bank portals, and CRM software. Analytical Rigor: A "detective" mindset to find why a single rupee is missing in a million-rupee settlement. Experience & Background Previous Role: Must have worked in the Settlements or Operations department of a Fintech, Payment Gateway, or a Bank (Merchant Acquiring division).
