Job Description

The Role

As the Zonal Manager, you will be responsible for the overall business growth and operational excellence across the North India Zone. You will lead a high-performance team of Regional and Business Development Managers to drive the adoption of our POS machines, Soundboxes, and Payment Gateway solutions. You are expected to be a "Leader of Leaders," focusing on market share, revenue targets, and portfolio health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define the sales strategy for the North Zone, identifying high-potential merchant clusters (Retail, Fuel, Hospitality, etc.).
  • Sales & Revenue Ownership: Own the Zonal P&L. Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly targets for new terminal installations and Gross Community Value (GCV).
  • Team Management: Hire, train, and mentor a team of 30+ sales professionals. Drive a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Portfolio Retention: Monitor merchant churn and ensure active usage of POS machines through effective relationship management.
  • Distributor & Channel Management: Build and manage a network of third-party distributors and ISOs to scale reach in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure all merchant onboarding follows KYC guidelines and internal risk frameworks to maintain a healthy portfolio.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record: At least 10 years of experience in Sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Payments, POS, or Merchant Acquiring (Bank/Fintech).
  • Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the North Indian market dynamics, including local business networks and regional retail trends.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to analyze sales funnels, conversion rates, and merchant behavior using CRM tools.
  • Education: MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has an exceptional track record.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to solve ground-level merchant issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
