Role Overview

Manager for our Online Tutoring vertical


Key Responsibilities1. Tutoring Operations Management

  • Coordinate daily operations of online tutoring across SAT, IB, and IGCSE subjects.
  • Manage the scheduling and delivery of live classes, workshops, and 1:1 tutoring sessions.
  • Ensure timely availability of recordings, assessments, and feedback to students.

2. Team Leadership & Tutor Performance

  • Lead, onboard, train, and evaluate a team of subject-matter expert tutors.
  • Monitor class quality through reviews, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Create and implement SOPs for teaching delivery, student engagement, and query resolution.

3. Curriculum Oversight

  • Collaborate with curriculum leads to update and refine SAT, IB, and IGCSE content.
  • Ensure alignment with assessment frameworks, exam patterns, and pedagogical best practices.
  • Contribute to high-quality lesson planning and resource creation.

4. Student Experience & Academic Success

  • Track student progress using dashboards, test reports, and tutor inputs.
  • Drive proactive academic interventions for underperforming students.
  • Maintain high NPS scores and parent satisfaction through personalized support.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Tech, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and support for tutoring clients.
  • Contribute data and insights to optimize student lifecycle outcomes.


Preferred QualificationsAcademic & Professional

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Business, or relevant discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience managing academic programs, tutoring operations, or EdTech platforms.
  • Prior experience working with SAT, IB (MYP/DP), or IGCSE formats is

Skills

  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with academic management platforms (e.g., Zoom, LMS tools, Google Workspace).
  • Data-driven mindset with a sharp eye for performance metrics and KPIs.

Nice to Have

  • Previous tutoring or test prep experience.
  • Familiarity with US/UK university admissions.
  • Comfort with fast-paced, startup-like environments.
