Job Description

  • Institutional Partnership Development
    • Identify, engage, and secure strategic collaborations with universities, business schools, and engineering colleges.
    • Develop and execute customized learning and upskilling programs in alignment with NEP, UGC, and AICTE guidelines.
    • Drive faculty development programs, curriculum enhancement initiatives, and student upskilling projects.
    • Leverage government grants, CSR funds, and skill development programs for institutional partnerships.
  • Revenue Growth & Business Expansion
    • Secure high-value MoUs and multi-year institutional engagements to drive sustainable revenue growth.
    • Ensure maximum adoption of ExcelRs training solutions through targeted engagement with academic stakeholders.
  • Consultative Sales & Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as a trusted consultant to institutional leadership, crafting tailored skilling roadmaps and strategic alliances.
    • Lead high-impact presentations, business discussions, and institutional networking.
    • Position ExcelR as a leader in academic transformation through industry-aligned upskilling solutions.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
    • Stay ahead of higher education trends, university accreditation requirements, and EdTech developments.
    • Analyze competitor strategies and identify new revenue opportunities in B2I / B2A EdTech sales.
    • Represent ExcelR in education summits, policy discussions, and institutional conferences.
  • Sales Performance & Account Growth
    • Maintain a structured sales pipeline with forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
    • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure successful program execution.
    • Develop repeat business opportunities and long-term academic engagement strategies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  1. Education: B.Tech / B.E / BBA / MBA (Marketing) / BSc (CS) or related fields.
  2. Experience: 7-12 years in Key Account Management, Institutional Sales, or EdTech Business Development.
  3. Proven Success: Strong track record in closing MoUs, scaling institutional partnerships, and revenue- driven collaborations.
  4. Strategic & Consultative Selling: Expertise in engaging with Vice Chancellors, Trustees, Deans, and Academic Directors.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of higher education frameworks, NEP mandates, and university accreditation processes.
  6. Negotiation & Revenue Ownership: Ability to close large-scale deals and structure institutional engagement strategies.
  7. Leadership & Influence: Ability to drive policy-level discussions, manage high-value negotiations, and expand institutional reach.
