Purpose of the Role: To evaluate internal controls, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Audit Planning & Execution: Plan and conduct internal audits across key departments and functions, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and others, in accordance with the annual audit plan. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing observations, risks, and recommendations. Present findings to management and support the development of corrective action plans. Internal Control Evaluation: Assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with organizational objectives. Process Improvement & Cost Efficiency: Analyze business processes and controls to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement. Compliance & Governance: Monitor adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), internal policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure legal and ethical compliance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective measures and monitor the timely closure of audit issues. Education and Experience: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3 to 5 years of experience in Internal Audit, preferably within the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare sector or with Big 4 audit firms.
