Manager HR Operations - Onboarding & People Management Position Overview The HR Operations Team Leader is responsible for managing and key HR delivery functions including onboarding, background verification, payroll processing, employee support services and exit management. This is a Global role and centers on seamless delivery of HR operations while maintaining high standards of service excellence and compliance. The successful candidate will lead a team of 5 to 8 frontline HR Operations professionals. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities Establish clear performance metrics and goals for team members Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback Implement best practices and process improvements across HR operations Foster a positive team culture focused on service excellence HR Operations Management Oversee end-to-end employee onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires Manage background verification processes, maintaining compliance and quality standards Supervise payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement Monitor and manage HR query mailboxes, ensuring timely resolution of employee concerns Manage separation / offboarding activities. Develop and maintain HR operational policies and procedures Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives in HR processes Reporting of HR Operations process to both internal and external audience. People Management Partner with business leaders to understand and address their HR operational needs Implement employee engagement initiatives and measure their effectiveness Support talent acquisition and retention strategies Facilitate employee relations and conflict resolution Maintain updated employee records and HR documentation Performance Management Design and implement performance management frameworks Support managers in conducting effective performance reviews Track and analyze performance metrics across the organization Develop improvement plans for underperforming employees Ensure fair and consistent application of performance policies Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field 10 to 13 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a people manager capacity. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements. In-depth knowledge of HRMS systems like Success Factors and / or Workday Excellent people management and leadership skills Advanced proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred Master's degree in HR or relevant field Professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) Experience with HR digital transformation initiatives Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools Detailed knowledge of labor compliances like shops and establishments act is preferred. Experience in managing HR Operations for multiple locations is a plus.
