Role Purpose:

The

Manager, Global Pricing Excellence – Performance & Insights

will be responsible for driving an end- to end price performance process capturing insights, understanding key performance indicators, monitoring execution and creating commercial value through deployment of additional price execution activities to the regions. Additionally, linking price performance to price planning, by shaping a forward-looking price forecast and action plans in line with broader enterprise planning processes. The individual will own the price forecasting space interfacing with pricing and financing teams, actively engaging in driving commercial value whilst ensuring integrity in our BP, LRPP, LRFP processes

Key Areas Of Responsibility

  • Own key ARCH enterprise pricing assets ensuring data integrity, future enhancements in line with business objectives and any adaptation to regional requirements.
  • Partner with Global Pricing Strategy, Finance and Regional Pricing teams on understanding global price performance key quantitative and qualitative drivers, resulting in enriched broader price performance communication to the JJMT organisation
  • Embed a regional process to enable senior management to understand the key pricing actions driving the current price plan in the key countries, highlighting areas of opportunity or risks
  • Owner of key pricing customer performance assets in ARCH driving customer profitability improvement whilst ensuring data integrity, future enhancements in line with business objectives and any adaptation to regional requirements.
  • Partnering with Global Pricing, Global Marketing and Supply Chain, develop and deploy a new detailed LRPP process ensuring accuracy and cohesion with the current and future price plans
  • Lead the process to develop the forward-looking price plan (LRFP & BP), utilising performance insights and commercial opportunities, coupled with grounded financial assumptions to communicate a well thought through plan to regions and business units
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindsight to further automate and enhance the insights that can be highlighted from the plan and performance data sets
  • Collaborate and take a prominent role in preparation of regional or country workshops to deliver recommendations on how to capture additional pricing opportunities.
  • Run regional trainings to enhance the Pricing Excellence acumen and knowledge of the global pricing framework and capabilities.
  • Provide data and analytical support to additional ad-hoc projects, future development of tableau pricing assets and training materials

Experience And Skills – Required

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of business experience
  • Ability to collaborate and cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships across multiple functions, levels, and geographies
  • Ability to influence without authority – including influencing senior leaders – and to negotiate and drive decision-making
  • Strong business acumen and able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the business and customer landscape driving financial impact
  • Balance of quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills with an emphasis on data-driven and customer-focused decision-making
  • Strong business acumen and a sharp strategic mind grounded in insights within J&J as well as the MedTech industry
  • Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions amidst uncertainty and incomplete data
  • Strong prioritization, project and time management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and economic metrics including price, volume and gross profit

Experience And Skills – Preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in Pricing, Marketing, Contracting, Finance, Strategic Planning or Health Economics
  • Experience in the medical device industry and product/market knowledge of J&J MedTech and competitor medical devices
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones within a complex business environment
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization programs
