Manager (Driver Lifecycle & Management)

Position Overview:

end-to-end driver lifecycle management

Key Responsibilities :

Driver Sourcing & On Boarding:

• Identify, source, and onboard qualified drivers to ensure sufficient fleet supply.
• Conduct driver recruitment campaigns, training sessions, and background verifications.
• Establish strong supply channels through tie-ups with driver partners, vendors, and agencies.
• Achieve onboarding targets aligned with city-specific operational needs.

Driver Engagement & Retention:

• Develop strategies to enhance driver retention and reduce attrition rates.
• Conduct regular driver engagement activities, feedback sessions, and incentive programs.
• Monitor driver performance, ensure adherence to company SOPs, and take corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers to improve loyalty and satisfaction.

Operational Management :

• Manage the lifecycle of drivers from onboarding to exit, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
• Monitor daily driver performance KPIs such as trip completions, cancellations, service quality, and revenue contribution.
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams to align supply with demand.
• Resolve escalations and ensure drivers follow company policies and customer service guidelines.

Training and Compliance :

• Conduct training sessions on company processes, safety standards, and customer handling.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements for drivers.
• Implement disciplinary actions for policy violations.

Process optimization & Reporting

• Develop and optimize driver lifecycle processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on driver supply, performance, attrition, and operational gaps.
• Work with senior leadership to plan driver supply strategy for new regions and business expansions.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in

  fleet operations, logistics, or mobility services

  with direct involvement in driver management.
• Strong knowledge of

  driver acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies

  .
• Proven track record of managing large driver bases across multiple cities.
• Excellent people management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in

  ride-hailing, cab aggregation, or logistics platforms

  .
• Strong analytical skills with ability to use data for decision-making.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and operational tools.
• Ability to build partnerships with vendors, driver partners, and internal stakeholders.
