Manager - Corporate Event operations ( India)

end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events

• Own 

  end-to-end event operations

   from project kick-off to post-event closure
• Translate client briefs and creative concepts into actionable operational plans
• Create detailed 

  event timelines, run-of-show documents, and operational checklists

• Ensure flawless on-ground execution across multiple event formats (corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, brand activations, etc.)

• Lead, mentor, and manage 

  operations executives, freelancers, and on-ground teams

• Allocate resources efficiently across projects and timelines
• Coordinate with internal teams including Client Servicing, Creative, Production, and Finance

• Identify, onboard, negotiate, and manage vendors (production, fabrication, AV, logistics, artists, manpower, venues, etc.)
• Ensure vendor deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations
• Build and maintain a reliable vendor ecosystem across locations

• Prepare detailed 

  event budgets and cost estimates

• Track expenses, manage POs, and ensure adherence to approved budgets
• Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising quality
• Coordinate with finance for billing, vendor payments, and reconciliations

• Act as the 

  operations point-of-contact

   for clients during planning and execution
• Participate in client meetings to provide operational feasibility and recommendations
• Ensure alignment between client expectations and operational delivery

• Lead on-site operations including setup, rehearsals, show flow, and dismantling
• Manage crisis situations, last-minute changes, and troubleshooting during events
• Ensure compliance with safety, venue, and statutory guidelines

• Maintain operational documentation, vendor contracts, and approvals
• Conduct post-event reviews and share learnings, reports, and closure documents
• Continuously improve SOPs and operational processes

• Strong 

  project management and organizational skills

• Excellent vendor negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Leadership mindset with hands-on execution capability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• 6–10 years of experience in 

  events / experiential marketing / live events operations

• Proven experience managing 

  large-scale events and multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong understanding of production, AV, fabrication, logistics, and venue operations
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours during events
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; project management tools are a plus
