Job Purpose:
The job purpose of a Shift Incharge - Automation & Robotics is to implement and manage automation and robotic systems for solar cell maintenance, drive technological innovations and upgrades, troubleshoot issues related to automation technologies, and train maintenance teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy in maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
Automation and Robotics Oversight:
- Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of automation and robotics systems to ensure efficient and accurate production processes.
System Optimization And Efficiency
- Implement and optimize automation and robotics systems to improve production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Documentation And Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of system performance, maintenance activities, and operational metrics. Prepare and present regular reports on automation and robotics performance.
Spare Parts Planning
- Analyze historical data and predict future spare parts requirements. Collaborate with shift engineers and spare part manager to align inventory levels with operational needs.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for enhancements in automation and robotics processes. Implement improvements based on performance data and industry best practices.
CAPA (Corrective And Preventive Actions)
- Oversee the CAPA process for automation and robotics issues, including investigating failures, implementing corrective actions, and tracking progress to prevent recurrence.
Safety Protocol Compliance
- Ensure all automation and robotics operations adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct safety audits and provide safety training for team members.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor and enforce quality standards for automation and robotics systems, ensuring they meet performance criteria and produce high-quality results.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the automation and robotics team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective operation and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, or related field.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
- 8-12 Years of experience in automation and robotics, including 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
