Role Description

Mines office Barbil -Odisha.


Qualifications

  • Financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting skills
  • Experience in auditing, compliance, and regulatory adherence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
  • Ability to work on-site at Barbil-Odisha
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent preferred

  • Experience in the natural resources industry is Mandatory.


ü Day to Day Monitoring of accounting of all the Invoices, Payments, Receipts, Journal Vouchers in Excel/Tally/ERP Next Accounting Software.

ü Validating and checking the vendors invoices as per contracts or agreements with vendors.

ü Processing of Vendors Payments as per payment cycle.

ü Ensuring the proper deduction/adjustment of TDS/unadjusted balances before releasing the payments to vendors.

ü Effective Co-ordination with the Gurgaon team & Barbil Office team for day-to-day accounting issues or information’s or support.

ü Monthly GST & TDS, TCS reconciliation and payment of the same.

ü Taking care/preparing/handling the GST Notices received from the department.

ü Handling GST Audits/query/or preparing data or providing support to GST Officials.

ü Handling Mines Assessment or various audits of Mines govt audits.

ü Regular Vendors Reconciliation and ensuring balance confirmations from vendors.

ü Regular Customers/Debtors reconciliations and balance confirmations.

ü Review of Vendors and Customers debit or credit balances for timely actions on it.

ü Monthly GL Reconciliations and MIS work.

ü Support the Audit team like Internal, Statutory, GST Audit, Mines Audit and provide supports/data to them.



Position       :  Manager/Sr. Manager A/c. Matured candidates required.

Qualification: CA Intermediate/ICWA Intermediate/M. Com having 08-12 Years good practical experience.


Preferably from Mining/Steel Industry Background
