1. Role Overview
The Management Trainee – HR will assist the HR department in managing and improving HR processes across the organization, including plant HR activities, recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and daily HR operations. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to manufacturing HR functions and prepare the trainee for a future HR executive/assistant role.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment & Onboarding
· Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for plant, sales, and office roles.
· Coordinate interviews, assessments, and joining formalities.
· Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
· Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
B. Attendance, HR Operations & Documentation
· Assist in daily attendance monitoring and leave management.
· Update HRIS/Excel sheets with employee data.
· Maintain employee personal files, contracts, and documentation.
· Support payroll preparation by collecting attendance and overtime details.
C. Employee Engagement & Communication
· Help plan and execute monthly engagement activities at the plant and office.
· Collect employee feedback and assist in resolving minor grievances.
· Support communication initiatives like notices, circulars, and HR updates.
D. Compliance & Factory HR Support
· Assist in statutory compliance processes relevant to manufacturing units (PF, ESI, overtime records, muster rolls, etc.).
· Coordinate with contractors and ensure proper documentation of contract labour.
· Maintain registers as required under labour laws (under supervision).
E. Training & Development
· Help identify training needs in production, sales, and admin teams.
· Coordinate internal/external training sessions.
· Maintain training attendance and effectiveness records.
F. Reporting & Organizational Development Support
· Assist in preparing HR reports: attendance, manpower, recruitment, attrition.
· Support HR in implementing policies, SOPs, and process improvements.
· Help in collecting data for performance management and appraisal cycles.
3. Skills & Competencies
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Basic understanding of HR functions
· Eagerness to learn manufacturing & plant HR operations
· Good Excel and documentation skills
· Ability to multitask and work under supervision
· Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to work closely with factory teams
4. Qualifications
· MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent
· Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in HR preferred
· Interest in manufacturing HR will be an added advantage
5. Growth Path
This role will provide the trainee exposure to end-to-end HR activities. Based on performance, the trainee can be promoted to:
· HR Executive
· HR Officer (Plant HR)
· HR & Admin Assistant

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
